Ancestral paraty in Germany

I recently had the honor of presenting my documentary photography exhibition about Paraty in Germany—a moving experience. Seeing images of my homeland brought to life on another continent and receiving so many curious, emotional, and respectful glances was simply unforgettable.

The exhibition sparked interest not only in the beauty of Paraty, but also in the strength and heritage of the indigenous communities depicted, the Quilombolas and Caiçaras. Every conversation during the opening emphasized the importance of telling these stories truthfully and sensitively.
